I hold dual licenses as a Professional Counselor and Addiction Counselor in Colorado. Additionally, I am licensed in South Dakota for telehealth services. My journey began in Switzerland, where I was born and raised. In 2009, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. Since then, I’ve worked in diverse settings, ranging from residential homes for children and adolescents to case management positions.

My educational path led me to Prescott College in Arizona, where I pursued a Master of Arts in Adventure Education, with a focus on Wilderness Therapy. After spending several years as a Lead Field Instructor in a Wilderness Therapy program in Wisconsin, I felt compelled to return to college. My goal was to enhance my ability to counsel and empower individuals facing life challenges. I discovered my passion for supporting people by walking alongside them on their journey toward a healthier self.

Growing up in a First Responder family, I developed a keen interest in understanding the impact of stress on individuals. As a result, I specialized in trauma-informed care, aiming to assist those who navigate some of life’s most demanding circumstances. In 2018, I graduated from Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling.

My counseling career began by working with both adults and children in the foster care system, focusing on those who had experienced traumatic events. I completed the EMDR basic training and integrated it into my clinical practice. Additionally, I served as an Addiction Counselor, specializing in Substance Abuse and earning my LAC (Licensed Addiction Counselor).

In 2021, I established my Private Practice, called Footprints of Change Counseling, where I continue to specialize in trauma-informed counseling. Throughout my career, I firmly believe in seeing each individual as a whole, recognizing that mental health is influenced by our environment, physical well-being, and social connections.
